Clinical and Translational Research Core
The Clinical and Translational Research Core (CTRC) is directed by Dr. Charles Bernick, MD, MPH and co-directed by Dr. Shehroo Pudumjee, PhD. The CTRC is responsible for developing a clinical cohort of patients with Alzheimer’s Disease AD, Parkinson’s (in Phase I) and healthy controls. This cohort is designed to support CNTN junior researchers and other early-career investigators interested in collaborating with the CNTN. Participants in this cohort will undergo annual re-examinations to create a comprehensive longitudinal dataset. The CTRC manages all aspects of patient recruitment, which includes applying inclusion and exclusion criteria and collecting biomarkers for genetic analysis.
